From trade to partnership — towards value chains, shared industrial capability and regional security.
100 years of trust and trade
Trade between Sweden and Poland has underpinned the relationship for more than a century, and it has accelerated markedly in recent years through new agreements, initiatives and joint activities. In many areas, the exchange has evolved from individual transactions into partnerships where both countries have leveraged each other’s strengths and built capabilities that now show up across multiple sectors.
The next natural step — beyond increasing trade and cooperation — is to develop strong, profitable value chains across industry and services. This strengthens our shared capacity to deliver, and it contributes to regional resilience and security.
The project supports this shift by providing communication tools that make it easier for organisations to promote trade and deepen the relationship between our two countries. The delivery includes a flagship film, a teaser, case stories and a workshop kit — together forming a long-term asset for future work.
The professionally produced film captures the countries’ shared trading legacy, draws strength from it, and turns the lens to what comes next. It is a fast-paced narrative designed for policy dialogues, workshops and conferences — a catalyst for discussion and new ideas. The visually striking teaser opens meetings and is easy to distribute via press, social channels and direct outreach. The case films show what progress looks like in practice — and what it takes to scale. The workshop kit supports matchmaking and working sessions, providing structure for preparation, delivery and follow-up.
We are now inviting organisations to join as partners or funders. It is an investment that strengthens trade, builds relationships and lays the groundwork for a shared future.
